Compilation - The Brycc House Benefit CD

The Brycc House (pronounced "brick" - Bardstown Road Youth CUltural Center) first opened its dorrs in april of 2000 as a result of four years of hard work. It is the region's only youth-run youth center that operates on consensus based decision-making and non-hierarchical grassroots efforts. Participants run the programs at the Brycc House, including the radio station, public computer lab, zine et independant book library, art exhibitions, theater productions, poetry events, self-defense classes, film screenings, live concerts, and grassroots organizing. The Brycc House is an example of a permanent autonomous zone, an alternative institution that people can build with direct democracy an do-it-yourself principles.
