Le Silence des Nanos

a cyberdocumentary about our technological future The action takes place on the screen of a computer connected to the network. A navigation in the cyberspace makes possible to discover what the nanotechnologies mean in terms of program.

Through websites, links, downloads, the film reveals the history of these emergent technologies, visions and dreams of which they proceed or those they generate. Questions which are undoubtedly not new : our relation with technology, development, progress ; but facing the announced technological revolution, are growing in acuity.

It is not a scientist and technical documentary, neither an illustration or the popularization of research in progress. It is a reflexive film on emergent technologies, a critical and nevertheless rationnal questioning of the scientific activity and technological development from an anthropological point of view.

“Science does not think”, Heidegger wrote. He added that philosophy does not think either. « Not yet ». However science dreams ; and this is what the film is all about.
